Al Nassr captain honoured as all-time UEFA Champions League top scorer
Al Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo has been honoured with a special award in recognition of his remarkable legacy in the UEFA Champions League.
The Portuguese legend is the all-time top scorer of Europe’s lead club competition with 140 goals in 183 appearances, scored in the colours of Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. Ronaldo has finished seven separate Champions League seasons as leading scorer - more than any other player - and won the trophy five times. He is also the only player to score in three finals.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner left Europe in 2022, opting to continue his glittering career in the Roshn Saudi League, where he kick-stared an influx of stars to Saudi Arabia.
