The Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) has initiated an inquiry after a video surfaced that seemingly captures Premier League referee David Coote allegedly expressing derogatory comments regarding former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
The widely circulated video appears to show Coote using a derogatory term to refer to Klopp, who left Liverpool this past summer after nearly ten years at the helm.
According to reports from the PA news agency, PGMOL is aware of the video and has initiated an investigation to assess its authenticity and context. Currently, Liverpool Football Club has chosen not to release a statement.
